Alicia Amo begins her musical studies in the speciality of Violin combining with Classical Percussion and Ballet. She obtains the Higher Diploma in Violin in San Sebastián with the best marks and realizes a Master in Violin at the University of Graz. She moves to Basle (Switzerland) to study historical Singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Gerd Türk and gets the Bachelor degree and the Master degree with Honors. She receive lessons from Richard Levitt, Margreet Honig, Rosa Domínguez, Carlos Mena, Bernardette Manca di Nissa, Ana Luisa Chova, Christophe Coin, Alessandro de Marchi, Andreas Scholl, María Espada, Emma Kirkby, Ainhoa Garmendia, etc. etc.  Alicia has also studied baroque violin and taken part in two Operastudio with Alberto Zedda (Bel Canto) and René Jacobs (Mozart, Susanna role).

   She is winner of the "Mozart" International Opera Competition Granada, Manhattan International Music Competition, Berliner International Music Competition, "Francesco Provenzale" International Singing Competition in Naples, the principal role in the Atelier Lyrique  Strasburg and the residences at Ambronay, Royaumont and Fondazione Cini Venezia.

   

   She performs Opera and Oratorio from 16th C. to 21th C. conducted by R.Jacobs, A.Marcon, J.Cohen, E.Onofri, R.Alessandrini, R.Pichon, M.Gester, M.Emelyanychev, C.Zacharias, T.Hengelbrock, T.Koopman, L.Equilbey, C.Rovaris, A.Fischer, G.Andretta, M.Romea, R.Encinar, P.Heras-Casado, C.Mena, G.García-Calvo,.    Alicia founds Musica Boscareccia with A.Mercero and her first CD “Dulze Acento” is nominated at ICMA 2016. She makes recordings for Harmonia Mundi, Arcana, Naïve, Tactus, Glossa, Radio France  and teaches historical singing in AIMAntiqua, University of Murcia and Baroque OperaStudio (University of Burgos).

 

   In her trajectory as a violinist she has been concertmaster and soloist with the Spanish Youth Orchestra (JONDE) and the Symphonic Orchestra of Burgos and member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), Steirische Philarmonie, Orquesta Sinfónica del País Vasco, Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio-Televisión española and  I Barocchisti.
